This website is intended to be a support for those seeking information and support on trans and non-binary issues in Northern Ireland. A trans person is anyone whose gender identity is different from the gender they were assigned at birth. Trans, non-binary and gender-variant people can be of all ages and community backgrounds, and can have all kinds of gender identities, making up around 1% of the population . Many of the support organisations for trans people and their families listed on this website are open to those who identify as non-binary, or who are questioning their gender.

This site has been designed and created by the support organisations detailed in this website, including the Gender Identity Service for Northern Ireland.
